over-priced sushi

Senju, October 29.
We spent a dinner in Senju for over-priced sushi (IDR 38k for 4 pieces of sushi). Sadly, Sushi Tei's or Sushi Groove's sushi, which cost cheaper, taste way better than those I ate in Senju. But I got to admit, its okonomiyaki tasted really delicious.

My Pancake, October 18.

It was another 18th on the calendar, meaning another me and boyfriend's day. We had a dinner date in My Pancake. I was actually craving for Pancious' pancake but since it was a dinner after work, we thought it was way too exhausting to go to Pancious in Pondok Indah Mall, you know Jakarta and its excruciating traffic jam. We decided to go to Citos and the only restaurant serving pancake is My Pancake. We ordered chocolate vanilla pancake. Since we ordered the large portion containg 2 pieces of pancake, we decided to replace one of the pancakes with a waffle which later we found did not really taste good. The pancake was okay but did not taste as good as I was expecting it to be. I thought it was a bit too sweet. I think pancake is better served a wee bit salty. We also ordered fish & chips which I think was dissapointing considering the price which is nearly the same with the price of a plate of super delicious fish & chips in Fish & Co. The fish was too soft both inside and out. And oh, the chips was not crispy. Another disappointment. I would not recommend those menus to others.

everyday i'm waffle-ing

Garden Cafe XXI, October 15.

Geez, it is really hard to find a catchy title. Currently, I am happy with the fact that more and more Hollywood movies are available in theaters. This means boyfriend and I are gonna experience many movie dates. In fact, we just had one. We saw Super 8 in midnight show! Since it is directed by J.J Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, the visual and special effect are awesome. The casts are also genuinely fresh. However, I don't think the storyline is interesting especially given the fact that the alien is not really exposed in the movie, and it's a movie about alien. Duh. And sadly I have to say that the most entertaining part is the short film made by the casts. Everyone should not leave the theater when the credit title appears on the screen because that is when the short film is played. Anyway, while we were waiting for the midnight show, we hang-out in Garden Cafe XXI. We already had a dinner so we decided to order a belgian waffle. I don't know why do they name the menu after the European country. The waffle was pretty big, I even thought it actually should be eaten by 4 people, instead of just 2 people. I don't really like how it was served because it made the waffle looks boring and even worse, it looked like the waffle was just an artificial food display. But contrary to its look, it tasted really good. Yummeh.

This afternoon, I am strucked by a thought.

What if I begin to truly love you and eventually truly love you with all my heart?

And thanks to the gloomy weather and melancholic songs in my playlist, I can't help but feel so sad.

Falling in love with someone is easy. It's the feelings entailed that sometimes are just unbearable.

wanted: a vacation

I am more a beach kinda person. That is basically because I prefer hot to cold. I don't like cold weather. I miss going to beach so much. If I'm not mistaken, the last time I went to a beach was in September/October last year. Gosh, such a long time. I've made a plan to go to a beach next month. It's kinda remind me that last year, around the same time, a friend of mine at work asked me to join him and his friends on their vacation to Pramuka Island, but I turned down the offer. And this time, that friend of mine kind-heartedly asked me again to go to Tidung Island or Karimun Jawa when he knew that I really want to go to a beach. Isn't that just sweet? Thank you, friend-turned-to-be-boyfriend.
