fancy lunch indeed

The big boss asked the whole team to have a lunch at Cork & Screw today. I think it is sort of like Decanter. It is a wine house too. The waiters were all nice and the service was okay. But I don't really think having lunch in a fancy restaurant, you know as it takes longer time to cook and serve the meals, is a good idea because I JUST CAN'T STAND THE HUNGER. But the food tasted really good. I order fried dori with mozarella served with potato wedges and spinach salad. I also ordered Kiwi mocktail. It was so fresh, the kiwi is so rich.

another dinner at sushi groove

Yesterday, I had to stay late at the office. Thanks to the deadly deadline. Before I went home, my friend asked me to eat in Sushi Groove Setia Budi. So far, I have to say my favorite outlet is the one in Grand Indonesia because they provide many sofas, not just sushi bar.

we did not get what we wanted

Chatter Box, September 17.
When boyfriend and I went out to Citos last week, we noticed that there's this new Chatter Box outlet. I had never been eating in Chatter Box before, so we decided to eat there. The place was pretty crowded, and there were so many children. So, I guess it is sort of family restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't know whether it is because we ordered at almost 9 pm or what, they did not serve the menu we ordered, Fish & Chips and Lychee flavored iced tea. So, I order Char Kway Teow instead, while boyfriend ordered Tom Yum which still did not beat Thai Express' in our opinion. The Char Kway Teow only tasted so-so. It did not beat Thai Express' either. Below are the pictures. The quality is so poor, I know. Always forget to bring my digital camera lately. Oh, by the way, we also did not feel comfortable with the chair/sofa as it was way too low. So, do not feel like eating out in there again.

i think it's his fave restaurant

Bakmi GM, September 16.
I've noticed that my boyfriend loves noodle so much. And I think Bakmi GM is his favorite restaurant. However, he did not order noodles this time.

i love the fried dumpling so much

it did make me feel better

Sushi Groove, August 28.
I always believe that the closest thing to happiness is food. For me, food is a remedy. Food gives me comfort. Food consoles my heart. And it did on August 28. There was this problem with my bank account as a sum of money from my account was debted by the bank for the transaction that was recorded as fail. After reporting this problem to the bank, I still felt a lil bit worry as the balance in my account decreased drastically. So, my sister asked to eat in Sushi Groove. And voila! The food, sushi, to be exact, did console my heart.

By the way, by the time I am writing this post, my money has been credited back by the bank :)

october is gonna be such a blessed month

Two bestfriends of mine are having their inauguration parties. My boyfriend's bestfriend is going to tie a knot with his fiancĂ©e. I've known this couple for a year and we went out together several times. They are sweet and nice. And my best girl friend is also going to be married with his long-time boyfriend. All well-packed in October. Such a bless. I am overjoyed.

fast five

Little Asia, August 16
It was my first date with boyfriend and my bestfriend. It was so fun. We saw Fast Five on the cinema. The movie is good, the jokes are well-fitted. There's only one thing that bothers me, that is the fact that the story is similar (if not identical) with Ocean trilogy where a group of people plot a plan to rob something. Each of them has particular skill that contributes to the plan. And eventually they manage to conduct a pretty casual and fun robbery. We enjoyed the movie though. Before the movie, we had a dinner in Little Asia. There was nothing special, except the fresh terong belanda juice (which is pretty much the same with passion fruit imho).

fish & phitan porridge. yup! tawan's is much much better

kinda forget the name, but it tasted so spicy
