Ichiban Sushi, February 20.
Okay, I think Ichiban Sushi (other than Ta Wan) is one of the restaurants that I frequently visit. This time, I had a lunch with my mom, my sister and my boyfriend. Since I am the kind of person who would not mind repeatedly ordering the same menu every time I go to my favorite restaurant, so as always I order Special O'Day sushi and Ichiban's Salad. There was nothing new with these two menus, other than that the salad was still super fresh (we had our lunch at around 11.45 am. Early lunch, yes?). We also order two fusion sushi and salmon bento. I forget the name of one of the fusion sushi, but it is filled with crispy salmon skin and topped with tobiko (fish roe). The other one is Volcano Roll, sushi filled with kani (crab), omelet and cucumber and topped with tuna floss. Both are served really pretty. I personally prefer the salmon skin sushi than the tuna floss sushi because it has a rich and bold flavor. Meanwhile, the salmon bento set served as a complete meal. It consists of grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce, rice, chicken karaage, rice, salad, cucumber roll, miso soup and watermelon. Even writing those meals makes me hungry. The salmon is really soft and tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photograph of the salmon bento set to show how abundant it was.
